In my years of experience travelling, I would love to say the best place to start solo travel is in Southeast Asia and more specifically Nepal. Nepal the Himalayan kingdom has spectacular view of Mountain, National park, Glaciers Lake, Buddhist Monastery, city of temple, greatness of Hospitality and safe for any religious people.
Nepal has its own charm, filled with culture more than 124 different, famous for world best warrior ‘Gorkha Army’ and a lot of history. From the ancient times of lord Bouddha, to current Republic system, it’s a city that captivates you and entices you to indulge and live life on the edge people. From cheap booze, to meeting different types and kinds of travelers, amazing 8 highest mountains over 8000m, Temple, street business, archaeological sites of Lumbai, white water rafting, view from the passes of mountain it’s hard to run out of things to do over there. Beside the beech we have different water adventure is like going back in a time capsule. It’s a very different learning experience you can collect from the alley of Kathmandu, if you ask me it a biggest mystery. You learn to live with what you got and you learn to appreciate what you have from Monk. Life lessons are abundance when you’re here. Thamel and Pokhara lake site has a crazy night life as well, I mean imagine a can beer and standing out of tea houses at night and counting the little star, you can’t imagine around the life from Everest base camp, Gokyo lake, Annapurna basecamp, Langtang (Kangjing Gumba, Gosaikunda lake), Oktang Kanchenjunga, Manaslu base camp, view from poonhill, and Tillicho lake. Wilderness trekking like Kanchenjunga, Manaslu circuit, Tsum valley, Narphu valley, Rolwalling, Upper Dolpo trek, and upper mustang trek are on top of that stand a chance of experience paradise in real life. Many of my friends who has travelled to Nepal for holiday, more than 10 times eventually stayed there for some time, who don’t want.
The real fact of Nepal and Nepali are beautiful and happy people in world. You can see smile on face, kindness in heart and hospitality always in mind. Religious harmony between Buddhist, Hindu and Muslim is another positive message for rest of world. There is some proverb that Nepal has 366 days’ festival, which acknowledge you that you are in rich cultural land You will be safe most of part and can walk freely beside some restricted trekking area but we like to suggest hire either Guide or porter if you are in Budget. Some has been there for years, if you’re interested on solo travel to Nepal. It would be more than happy to recommend travel company Explore Manaslu for help you with more dream makes reality. Nepal and its people are still there to enchant. So, let go Nepal. Dream it today. The Mountain is calling you.
